All dealers are required to access, fill out, and submit a Dealer Agreement by August 15, 2026. Payment of your booth rental fee must also be completed prior to August 15th. Dealers who submit a Dealer Agreement after the deadline will be assessed a $25 late fee.
To access the agreement, please click on the link below. Then fill it out and press the SUBMIT button at the form's bottom. You can also print it and mail it to: Karen, PO Box 238, Grand Marais, MI 49839.

1. We will do everything we can to accommodate dealer booth requests. However, the Grand Marais Rock and Mineral Show Advisory Committee reserves the right to reconfigure booth layouts without notice.
2. The rock show will take place rain or shine. No refunds will be given for inclement weather. Show Management reserves the right to postpone or cancel the show in the event of dangerous weather or factors out of the manager’s control.
3. Set up will begin on Thursday, September 10, 2026, at noon, plus on Friday, September 11th from 7:00-10:00 am. All booths must complete their setup by 10:00 am on Friday and remain open for the duration of posted show hours. If a dealer does not or cannot work their booth on Saturday, they must receive permission from show management IN ADVANCE. Any dealer not exhibiting both days may not be allowed to have a booth at future shows.
4. Dealers must fill out and return the agreement and pay the booth rental fee by August 15, 2026. If a contract and payment are received after that date, it is up to show management as to whether the dealer will be allowed, returning dealers will lose their previous booth space, and late fees will be applied. The show committee will no longer call or email dealers to remind them to submit payment or the Dealer Agreement. It is up to the dealer to comply with the submission deadline.
5. Show management is not responsible for ensuring that plug-in camping sites will be available at Woodland Park Campground. Burt Township manages the campground — check availability at www.burttownship.com. Rustic campsites for dealers will be available upon request inside the baseball field’s perimeter at no charge. Please check with a Site Manager to determine your camping location.
6. Outside dealers who wish to park a vehicle inside or next to their booth must request permission in advance of the show’s opening. All vehicles not approved in advance must be parked in the designated Dealer Parking area by 9:30 am each day of the show. Vehicles cannot be driven within the event’s venue during show hours.
7. The majority of items sold at the show must be rock or mineral related (other than food dealers).
8. The Pole Barn and Community Center housing the INSIDE LARGE AND SMALL BOOTHS will be locked during non-show hours.
9. All outside dealers are responsible for bringing their own tents, tables, chairs, and displays. Tables and chairs will be provided to inside day-traders. A minimal number of tables will be available for indoor, full-booth dealers to rent on a first-come, first-served basis ($10/table). Chairs will be provided to inside dealers at no charge (maximum of two chairs per booth).
10. Outdoor dealers are responsible for weighing down and maintaining their tents and displays. Show management is not liable for any damage incurred to dealer booths by wind, other extreme weather, or theft/vandalism.
11. Dealers are responsible for paying state sales tax.
12. Each dealer is required to keep his or her area clean. No dealer is permitted to leave any discarded merchandise, boxes, or cartons in their booth area at the end of the show. All unwanted materials must be disposed of by the dealer in the garbage bins located on the eastern end of the community center complex.
13. All booth spaces will be clearly marked. Dealers must not exceed the space to which they are assigned.
14. Electricity will only be available for INSIDE BOOTHS and possibly to food dealers, who must supply their own heavy-duty, surge-protected extension cord.
15. Tear-down will begin on Saturday, September 11, 2026 at 5:00 pm. No early tear-downs are permitted. If a dealer tears down early, they may not be allowed to have a booth at future shows.
16. Only one dealer is permitted per contract agreement. Only one dealer is permitted per booth. Booth sharing will no longer be permitted.
17. Show management will assign booth space giving preference to those dealers who exhibited at the 2025 show. When requested, show management will do its best to give repeat dealers the same spot.
18. Show management reserves the right to limit the number of booth spaces per dealer.
19. Once payment and the signed contract are received, the vendor will be added to this year’s Dealer Listing. Upon arrival to the show site, all dealers should check in with show management to get their packet, which includes a map showing their booth location and nametags. Please return the lanyards at the end of the show to managers or place them in the designated box in the front of the pole barn.
20. If a dealer fails to comply with the terms of this agreement, show management has the right to prohibit the dealer from exhibiting at this year’s show (with no refund) and/or at future shows.
21. No individual public address systems or highly flammable materials will be permitted. Music or audio-visual sound must not be audible outside of their booth space.
22. Painter’s or gaffer tapes are the only acceptable adhesive for all inside surfaces (floors, walls, rented table, etc.)
23. Show management cannot guarantee dealers against loss, damage, or theft. Space is leased with the understanding that the dealer will hold show management harmless from any or all liabilities for any cause.
